About

On May 10, 2025, we are inviting again:

Less asphalt and more space for nature and people in the city!

At the Asphaltsprenger nature and culture festival, Hamburg nature lovers celebrate for an afternoon together with initiatives that promote sustainability. This is how the "PARKS" site and the park at the Hochwasserbassin in Hammerbrook into a field of exploration and an experimental funfair for young and old and everyone in between.

Look forward to a colorful cultural program and lots of live music. Come along, celebrate with us and find out what Hamburg initiatives and projects are doing for sustainability in our city.

And make a note of June 21/22, 2025: At the Langer Tag der StadtNatur, you can visit over 200 nature events in Hamburg and the surrounding area.

Delicious vegan/vegetarian food and drinks will of course also be available at the Asphaltsprenger Stadtnatur Festival.

You can also find the latest information on Instagram → @asphaltsprenger

Admission is free.

Background

How did this come about?

In 2020, the BürgerStiftung Hamburg and the Loki Schmidt Stiftung decided to jointly organize a festival that would bring together those active in the fields of nature conservation and culture. Because a world beyond consumerism is only possible together. Through initial contact with the HALLO: PARKS team, it quickly became clear that the ideal location for this special event format had been found. We started planning together and now the festival, which was called "EAT THIS!" the first time, is part of Hamburg's culture and nature program.

We hope you enjoy looking back in our photo archive:
