Between rap, dance, and poetry, Der feine Schliv explores new spaces. In her performances, she oscillates between provocative „f**k you“ statements to the patriarchy and empathetic narratives of trying and failing. She performs with, among others, the young Serbian duo "Slezga" as well as the Hamburg groups Fallbeil and Yummy Air. The diversity of her accompaniments reflects her musical universe, from ballad-like conscious rap to country tunes and witchy toasting.

Yummy Air

Between classic blues, metal, garage rock, and boogie jazz, the brothers have carved their unexpected way straight into the hearts of the audience. A sound one would only expect from old live recordings from the early seventies. With sharp lyrics, they denounce the capitalist contexts in which we live, without losing their sense of humor. Dressed in cowboy outfits, masculinities are naturally questioned and new, self-ironic, and vulnerable possibilities of it are lived out.

The combination of punk rock and rap that Yummy Air and Der feine Schliv bring to the stage breaks with sexist norms, shifts the boundaries of heteronormativity, and provides the audience with empowerment, entertainment, and a desire to dance. The lyrics in English and German are accompanied by drums, bass, and guitar and can be understood as an incitement to revolution.

Isa Schwarzenberg's vinyl listening sets hover somewhere between dreamy krauttronics, haunted folk, and post-genre echoes—irregular beats and quirky sounds drifting through slowed post-punk, peripheral oddities, and shape-shifting, no-BPM electronic residues; fragments in motion, dissolving, reassembling.

Kaspar Müller is into all kinds of sounds and noises. You never know if he'll bring his drum machines, modular synths, small scratch turntables, real drums – or all at once. His setup changes constantly, making the performance a thriller, but one thing is for sure: it's always dark and crunchy!

MADAMIMADAM is playing outernational and unusual electronic dance music from South Africa via Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, and India to South America.

Very rhythmic, very dynamic, and very danceable!

MADAMIMADAM has been part of the Hamburg underground scene for many years, playing at Golden Pudel, Slot, Gängeviertel, MS Stubnitz, and many other bars and venues in Hamburg. She is also a resident DJane at the Lala festival in Kiel.

When we, the Rainbow Drums of the volunteer Hamburg Greenpeace group, demonstrate, we want to be heard. And we really go all out for environmental protection, sustainability, and peace work. We make sure that a positive atmosphere isn't lost, even with serious topics.

We play and drum on classic percussion instruments and creative self-productions like trash cans and rain barrels – the main thing is that it's rhythmic and loud. We bring the protest colorful and rhythmic to the streets and want to inspire and captivate people!

Raubwürger are three quirky birds from Hamburg who advocate for nature with brutal environmental hardcore. Out of love for nature and anger at how it is being treated. Stylistically, Raubwürger operate in various areas of hardcore punk with hard electric guitars and driving drums. The songs deal with birdwatching, peaceful forest walks, and mushroom picking, but also various aspects of environmental destruction and resource waste. Love birds, hate fascism.

RICCARDI SCHOLA is the Italian half-brother of Richard v.d. Schulenburg, also known as RVDS. He is an ultimate disco lover and plays sets at Golden Pudel, Golem, and various underground clubs in Italy. He released a debut EP and a single with Giulia and Giada on Bordello A Parigi.

I am Sama (she/her), a 25-year-old singer from Jerusalem, now living in Hamburg. I sing pop in English and Arabic, connecting my bilingual background. I have been on stage since the age of 13 and have gained valuable experience in choirs as well as performances. As a solo artist, I interpret Arabic pop songs and aim to convey emotions with my voice, bring joy, and touch people.

… Sinem AKK & Martin move – with temperament and emotion – across various genres. Exclusively on May 9th, they will present blues rock, blues, and world music, in the form of their own songs and cover versions.

Sinem AKK sings mainly in German, English, and Turkish.

Expect fine sound, melodic arrangements, and many gentle sounds. The songs are linked to personal experiences and send very personal messages.

Trópico Infinito is a Hamburg-based Latin Beat Fusion band that brings together Latin American rhythms: Cumbia, Tango, Son. With vocals, congas, saxophone, electric guitar, and beats, the band with Colombian roots creates its unique soundscape. Sounds to listen to, dance to, and let your thoughts rhythmically wander.

Mit interaktiven Aktionen wie dem „Handy-Koffer“ und dem Parcours „von der Kakaobohne zur Schokolade“ wird Wissen greifbar. Dabei geht es nicht nur ums Lernen: Wir stärken Kinder und Jugendliche darin, eigene Entscheidungen bewusst zu treffen und selbst etwas zu bewegen.

Mit einer bunten Kinder Fahrraddemo, organisiert von ADFC, VCD und Parents for Future fahren wir mitten auf der Straße, aber ganz ohne Emissionen zum Asphaltsprenger Festival. Seid dabei, mit euren Kindern, Freund*innen und Angehörigen und natürlich mit euren Fahrrädern! Gemeinsam erobern wir die Straßen unter dem Motto: "Children ride bikes - a city worth living in!"

Giving the rainforest a voice – that's our mission. We can contribute to protecting nature in tropical regions through our behavior. This is because the raw materials for our electric cars, smartphones, or food largely come from rainforest areas.

Hanseatic Help e.V. zeigt euch, dass euer altes Hemd oder die alte Bettwäsche nicht unbedingt in der Mülltonne landen muss.

In einem partizipativen Prozess gestalten wir gemeinsam die Cover von Babykrabbeldecken, die vor Ort zusammengestellt und nach Fertigstellung Familien in schwierigen Lebenssituationen zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Ihr entscheidet, wie die Decke am aussehen wird!

Wir sprengen mit euch den Asphalt für ein Vogelparadies: Direkt auf dem Festival-Gelände pflanzen wir mit eurer Hilfe heimische Vogelschutzgehölze wie Kreuzdorn, Pfaffenhütchen und Weißdorn – mit reichlich Nistgelegenheiten und Beerenfutter im Winter. Ihr könnt bereits vor dem Festival-Start mit uns aktiv werden (10:30 bis 13:00 Uhr) oder am Nachmittag ins Pflanzen einsteigen (14:00 bis 16:30 Uhr).

We are creating food out of Elbmarsch clay with you. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, you can experiment with the special material and shape or paint your own favorite dishes – as flat clay tiles, like small plates full of treats.

Whether it's pizza, crisp vegetables, or a colorful fantasy dish: you create what tastes best to you. And if you like, your creation will later become part of an installation at the KLIMASTRÖME festival weekend in the Hafencity!

In „The Great Overgrowth,“ a tree grows in the middle of a Hessian village and overruns it. The village mayor tries to curb the growth with strict announcements, while a scientist is fascinated by the overgrowth.

Schrott bewahre invites you to a short presentation on the circular economy and urban mining. The focus is on the conscious use of existing resources: instead of viewing materials as waste, the non-profit organization shows ways to salvage, process, and reuse construction and residual materials meaningfully. This creates new value from seemingly worthless items. The talk will illuminate daily practices in dealing with existing resources and pose the question of how we can counteract the linear throwaway mentality.

Seit 10 Jahren realisiert der Hallo: e.V. im Hamburger Osten Projekte an der Schnittstelle von Kultur und gemeinwohlorientierter Stadtentwicklung. Der Kurzvortrag zum Projekt PARKS/POLYKULTUREN bietet einen fundierten Einblick in die Arbeitsweise und die ökologischen Ziele der Initiative. Vorgestellt wird ein Modell für kooperative Gestaltung, das zeigt, wie Stadtökologie als transformativer Lernraum für alle praktisch funktionieren kann.

Die Verbindung zwischen Landwirtschaft, Stadt und Mensch geht zunehmend verloren. Dabei ist sie grundlegend für uns alle, um Welt, Ernährung und Zusammenhänge zu begreifen – insbesondere für Kinder. Monja Jänisch (Acker e.V.) und Prof. Antje Stokman (HafenCity Universität Hamburg) zeigen im dialogischen Format, wie urbane Landwirtschaft in Bildung und Stadtentwicklung integriert werden kann, welche konkreten Initiativen und Projekte es bereits gibt und warum wir einen Wandel vom Einzelprojekt hin zu echtem System Change brauchen.

Ana Amil is a culture and community manager and founder. The focus of her work is on justice issues. "All everyday and public areas of life, such as mobility, work, health, education, housing, participation, ... must be thought of intersectionally and become fairer and more equal."

Ecology from the right: The workshop sheds light on the historical and current links between German nature conservation and environmental protection and extreme right-wing concepts. Participants will be sensitized to recognize inhuman thought patterns in nature conservation and environmental protection.

The kiosk is a neighborhood contact point where people develop and implement a meeting space and offers together - at PARKS, the community open space project at the old recycling yard in Hammerbrook, which the neighborhood has been developing and operating together with Hallo: and atelier le balto since 2019.

How can all living beings participate in a political system? It is being tested on a wooded wasteland in Berlin's Wedding district. Empathy laboratory, participatory political multispecies formats, educational projects and performances.

The tours start hourly at the NAJU stand in the park by the flood basin and lead to the nearby tower. From there, you can discover and identify various bird species with binoculars. The focus is often on common species like tits, finches, robins, and sparrows – but with a bit of luck, you might also spot rarer species.

Everyone is welcome – whether young or old, with or without prior knowledge. Come by and discover the diversity of the bird world with us!

How clean is the air we breathe? On this measurement tour, we use a mobile measuring device to take a close look at the concentration of ultrafine particles - tiny pollutants from traffic, industry and other sources that can penetrate deep into the lungs. Together we will explore the area surrounding the festival, show the measured values live and explain what they mean. Come along on a scientific walk and find out more about invisible pollution in the air we breathe!

Welche von Natur geprägten Orte gibt es um das PARKS Gelände zu entdecken? Auf dem Bullerdeich bekommt ihr einen Einblick auf den Stadtteil Hammerbrook durch die Linsen der Kinder des KIOSK analog Fotoworkshops. Es wurden Berge erklommen, versteckte Wege erforscht, experimentiert und am Ende feinst kuratiert, um die besten Motive zu bekommen. Seid gespannt!

Das Studio legt den Fokus auf das ortsbezogene Arbeiten mit dem, was schon da ist oder nur vorübergehend seinen Zweck erfüllt. Denn jeder Ort birgt gestalterische Potenziale, die es manchmal erst zu enthüllen oder zu inszenieren gilt.

Auf dem Asphaltsprenger 2026 wird das Studio die Qualitäten des Festivalgeländes in den Vordergrund rücken. Dies soll ganz im Sinne des ökologischen Bildungsauftrages des Festivals eine illustre Wertschätzung des lokalen, urbanen Ökosystems vermitteln.

Sinnbildlich für das Begreifen ökologischer Kreisläufe und Zusammenhänge wird es auf dem Bullerdeich eine Installation geben, die mit dem Gleichgewicht der örtlichen Ressourcen kokettiert.

A small exhibition at the Asphaltsprenger Festival shows what possibilities exist and how this has been implemented in Hamburg for decades. Information will also be provided about the RISA funding program.

Research bike – Discover, marvel, research yourself!

With our mobile research bike, we're bringing science directly to the Asphaltsprenger Festival. At our experiment stations, you can explore flowers, soil, water, and insects under real microscopes, try out natural phenomena, and ask your own questions. How does life exist in the soil? What's in a drop of water? Come by, research with us, and discover the invisible world right in the middle of the festival!

The soil and the earth on which we stand is not only a habitat, but also a symbol of diversity, change, death, composting and growth. It nourishes plants, fungi, animals and humans and shows us how important it is to look after each other, to live and grow together. In nature, we find many different species of plants, fungi and animals that together form an ecosystem. Together with the artist Elana Neil, we want to experience the earth together on this day and get to know different perspectives:

Earthworms are an important component of good soil and therefore the basis for all growth. Our mascot is the earthworm family called "SiS" (from the company Nordwurm and rescued worms from the Anglershop). It guides us through the art project and then answers the question of why it eats everything but the seeds and sprouts!

We also play memory games or make seed balls that look like rum balls. These are small balls of soil, seeds and clay that we can throw into nature to make plants grow. We also create other "sweets" from soil. Just as we plant seeds in the soil, we also want to sow the ideas of feminism in our society and allow them to flourish. Our creations are perfect as an alternative to real but unhealthy sweets as a gift! Together, we can spread the feminist seeds of compassion, tolerance, mindfulness and equality and start a conversation about them. We are committed to ensuring that equality is practiced and that everyone has the right to be heard and actively participate. Together, we are creating a space in which diversity can flourish! Let's be creative together and plant the seeds for a fairer world!

A city can produce (almost) everything it consumes itself: This is the vision of a "Fabrication City", or Fab City for short. In 2019, Hamburg became the first German city to decide to become a Fab City - with a consistent circular economy, new production processes using openly accessible machines, a new digital infrastructure for the city and extensive participation by city residents, this can be achieved.

Discover the world of the circular economy in a playful way with Fab City - from paper recycling and card games to exciting simulations and experiments. Suitable for all ages!

At a further GERICS themed table, the project, which is part of the EU project The Human-Tech Nexus (The HuT) developed the serious game "Flood Risk", which can also be played directly on site.

Also featured: Climate Service and Art with a video presenting some highlights of the GERICS activities on "Climate Change and Art", including a minimalist survey.

Last but not least: The GERICS climate outlooks for German counties, districts, regional districts and independent cities (here using Hamburg as an example). In each report, the results for climate parameters such as temperature, heat days, dry days or heavy rain days are summarized on a few pages. The results show the projected development of climate parameters over the course of the 21st century for each scenario with high, moderate or no climate protection.

This scientific publication also makes it clear that we must do everything we can to stop climate change.

"abpflastern" and "Jugend pflastert ab" are two nationwide de-sealing competitions in Germany! "abpflastern" is a student project of the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences for Societal Design. "Jugend pflastert ab" is an initiative by a student.

"What is water?" At first glance, this question seems banal, but it is remarkably complex. Is water merely a resource that we need to manage and monetize? Can people actually own water and if not, why can it be sold? Can we manage and control water or is it rather a force of nature with its own rules? Is it a good that belongs to all people on this planet and should be understood and protected as a common good?

We cordially invite you to join us on the Bille and listen to the voices and thoughts of various scientists on the question of what water actually is via an audio format. You can then write or record your own message in a bottle: What does water mean to you? What water stories have you experienced? Because yes, everything flows together.

The working group "Critical Geographies of Global Inequalities" deals with existing inequality and power relations from a critical perspective. In addition to theoretical-conceptual debates and empirical research, we contribute our research questions and findings to teaching and social processes.

At our craft event, you can make seed packets with your own custom wildflower mix – and incidentally do something good for our local wildlife.

Für Wald- und Umweltschutz: abholzen verhindern!

Mit der Volkspetition »Elbwald retten« wollen wir erreichen, dass der Hamburger Senat und die Hamburgische Bürgerschaft die geplante vollständige Abholzung des Elbwaldes am Bubendey-Ufer im Rahmen der Westerweiterung des Hafens stoppen und lediglich jene Bäume fällen lassen, die unbedingt weichen müssten, um die Drehkreiserweiterung für Containerschiffe zu ermöglichen. Die Ersatzpflanzung für diese Bäume soll dann auf der südlich direkt an den Elbwald angrenzenden Brachfläche vorgenommen werden, sodass das Biotop in der Breite wachsen könnte.

Nature conservation issues in connection with Hamburg's urban development are an important topic. The association aims to influence public decisions in favor of the preservation and expansion of urban nature and green spaces.

The association currently supports the following initiatives:

The association welcomes further initiatives that are committed to nature conservation.

For the seed and seedling exchange, the two are currently prioritizing plants. There are also plenty of seeds from the raised beds on the grounds.

Urbane Gärten als Orte des Wandels zeigen „Hamburgs Gärten – Bündnis für Urban Gardening“ und die Garten- und Bildungsinitiative „GRÜN(T)RAUM Heimfeld“.

Anhand der als Global Goals definierten Nachhaltigkeitsziele zeigen wir spielerisch Lösungen auf, die (a) in urbanen Gärten und/oder (b) in der Permakultur bereits praktiziert werden. Eine weitere Auseinandersetzung mit dem nötigen Wandel ermöglichen wir im Rahmen einer kleinen Kunstausstellung, in der Schüler*innen ihren Blick auf die Welt von morgen verarbeitet haben.

The future workshop combines theoretical content from the areas of soil, water and surface sealing with practical experience. Experiments and practical tasks provide real-life insights into the future challenges facing HAMBURG WASSER.

We want to make Hamburg better:

• No digital advertising systems
• smaller advertising spaces
• half of the areas for culture

In order for this to be put to a referendum, we need the signatures of 5% of the people eligible to vote in Hamburg by May 13, 2025. You can sign directly at our stand at the Asphaltsprenger festival and make our advertising regulation law a reality.

Hecken entdecken für Große und Klein: An unserem Info-Stand laden wir euch zum Hecken-Quiz ein und wir beraten euch, welche heimischen Sträucher Insekten und Vögel auf euren Balkon oder in euren Garten locken. Kinder können bei uns Strauch-Memory spielen, Dosenhecken-werfen oder mit Malstiften was ganz eigenes aushecken. Außerdem erzählen wir gern, wie ihr für Artenvielfalt und Klimaschutz mit dem Heckenretter e.V. aktiv werden könnt – ganz ohne Vereinsmitgliedschaft.

Wir, die Mitglieder des Jugendumweltrats, sind zwischen 14 und 25 Jahre alt. Als Gremium der BürgerStiftung Hamburg steht uns ein eigenes Förderbudget zur Verfügung, mit dem wir Klima- und Umweltschutz-Projekte, die von jungen Menschen in Hamburg initiiert und durchgeführt werden, unterstützen. Auf dem Asphaltsprenger könnt ihr euch den Fragen unserer Festival-Rally stellen – die Antworten findet ihr heraus, in dem ihr die Aktionsstände auf dem Festival besucht.

The KulturEnergieBunkerAltonaProjekt, or KEBAP for short, aims to create spaces for culture and generate decentralized energy in the high-rise bunker in Schomburgstraße in Hamburg-Altona. We already offer exciting events and programs for school classes on topics such as the environment, energy and sustainability.

Hi Beaver
Help the beaver swim across the Elbe River. Approximately 60 beavers currently live in Hamburg. At our booth, you can playfully learn about the largest native rodent and its way of life.

KUNST AUF BROT - a joint campaign by Minitopia and Solawi Superschmelz

Minitopia is an extracurricular place of learning, an adventure garden, a neighborhood meeting place and a real laboratory. On the site of a former truck workshop in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, people try out together whether and how we could provide for ourselves in times of globalization with local resources, our own hands and mutual support in the city. Solawi Superschmelz is a community-supported agriculture organization just outside Hamburg that distributes fresh organic vegetables directly from the field to its members every week from 5 depots in Harburg and Wilhelmsburg. Together they want to make you better eaters - creative, healthy and delicious!

Let the city blossom together with us and do something good for biodiversity. If you feel like it, you can make your own seed bag and take a portion of certified Regio seeds with you!

Take a break in the middle of the festival: It gets quieter, more intense – and somehow magical here. Let yourself be surprised by what suddenly appears when you look closer or reorient yourself. Play with your perception, let go of control for a moment, and gain new insights.

In the nature exchange, small finds go on journeys. You'll also receive nature-inspired impulses that ground you, strengthen you, and show you how easily resilience can develop. No lecture, no obligation – simply immerse yourself, try things out, and recharge.

Our association also looks after 14 of Hamburg's 37 nature reserves. We actively protect species and biotopes, offer a diverse environmental education program and are involved in shaping and discussing politics within the city.

Up to 20 million tons of plastic enter the ocean annually.

Studies show that poverty can be a significant cause of environmental degradation. In response to the interconnected challenges of poverty and plastic pollution, Sana Mare has developed the Social Cleanup program. Our approach combines ocean conservation with social justice. The project empowers people living in poverty by giving them the opportunity to earn a monthly income through collecting waste. At our booth, we provide information about this project and environmental protection projects.

In winter, we send out seeds to our supporting members, in May we give out tomato seedlings, and from July to September, we invite everyone to harvest tomatoes.

The Association for the Preservation of Crop Diversity (VEN) offers seeds of open-pollinated varieties, including old varieties and rarities. We also provide information in flyers and through personal conversations about cultivation possibilities and requirements for producing your own seeds. Above all, we want to emphasize the urgency of adapting European legal frameworks so that small businesses can and will be able to continue legally preserving old varieties in the future. We may also have some young plants available. We distribute seeds and plants in exchange for donations.

Cars need a hell of a lot of space! Estimate exactly how much at our stand, learn about exciting traffic facts and help draw our large mosaic picture. Of course, we also have plenty of ideas and concepts on traffic-related topics.

We are the young local group of Verkehrsclub Deutschland, all under the age of 35, and are committed to sustainable mobility for all. We organize discussions, excursions, campaigns and demonstrations for the mobility transition. Come along and let us inspire you!

If you want to know more about our work, about the return of wolves to Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, about good herd protection or how to tell a wolf from a dog, then come along.

We will be presenting our project at our stand and inviting you to join us in building a second nature garden on campus. We would like to make friends and gain further supporters.

As a practical side project, we offer to help fill small insect hotels with reed sticks.

We use these insect hotels to supplement the wildflower meadows on the university campus.
