Seit 10 Jahren realisiert der Hallo: e.V. im Hamburger Osten Projekte an der Schnittstelle von Kultur und gemeinwohlorientierter Stadtentwicklung. Der Kurzvortrag zum Projekt PARKS/POLYKULTUREN bietet einen fundierten Einblick in die Arbeitsweise und die ökologischen Ziele der Initiative. Vorgestellt wird ein Modell für kooperative Gestaltung, das zeigt, wie Stadtökologie als transformativer Lernraum für alle praktisch funktionieren kann.

Die Verbindung zwischen Landwirtschaft, Stadt und Mensch geht zunehmend verloren. Dabei ist sie grundlegend für uns alle, um Welt, Ernährung und Zusammenhänge zu begreifen – insbesondere für Kinder. Monja Jänisch (Acker e.V.) und Prof. Antje Stokman (HafenCity Universität Hamburg) zeigen im dialogischen Format, wie urbane Landwirtschaft in Bildung und Stadtentwicklung integriert werden kann, welche konkreten Initiativen und Projekte es bereits gibt und warum wir einen Wandel vom Einzelprojekt hin zu echtem System Change brauchen.

In „The Great Overgrowth,“ a tree grows in the middle of a Hessian village and overruns it. The village mayor tries to curb the growth with strict announcements, while a scientist is fascinated by the overgrowth.

Schrott bewahre invites you to a short presentation on the circular economy and urban mining. The focus is on the conscious use of existing resources: instead of viewing materials as waste, the non-profit organization shows ways to salvage, process, and reuse construction and residual materials meaningfully. This creates new value from seemingly worthless items. The talk will illuminate daily practices in dealing with existing resources and pose the question of how we can counteract the linear throwaway mentality.

In this workshop, unique cyanotypes will be created on paper using plants and sunlight. Each print is one-of-a-kind, shaped by nature and chance. A creative process of experimentation, design, and the traces of nature.

In diesem Workshop entstehen aus alten Papieren – wie Zeitungen, Zeitschriften oder Verpackungen – kleine Tiere, Vögel und Insekten. Schritt für Schritt zeigen wir, wie aus einfachen Faltungen lebendige Figuren entstehen. Origami fördert Konzentration, Geduld und kreatives Denken – und eröffnet zugleich einen kreativen Umgang mit vorhandenen Materialien.

We are creating food out of Elbmarsch clay with you. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, you can experiment with the special material and shape or paint your own favorite dishes – as flat clay tiles, like small plates full of treats.

Whether it's pizza, crisp vegetables, or a colorful fantasy dish: you create what tastes best to you. And if you like, your creation will later become part of an installation at the KLIMASTRÖME festival weekend in the Hafencity!

Introduction to stencil graffiti with street artist LAPIZ. You will learn to develop motifs and create stencils.

How clean is the air we breathe? On this measurement tour, we use a mobile measuring device to take a close look at the concentration of ultrafine particles - tiny pollutants from traffic, industry and other sources that can penetrate deep into the lungs. Together we will explore the area surrounding the festival, show the measured values live and explain what they mean. Come along on a scientific walk and find out more about invisible pollution in the air we breathe!

Using the great wheel and the hand spindle, you will learn the traditional method of processing wool into yarn. This wool comes from sheep in Wedel.

Hanseatic Help e.V. zeigt euch, dass euer altes Hemd oder die alte Bettwäsche nicht unbedingt in der Mülltonne landen muss.

In einem partizipativen Prozess gestalten wir gemeinsam die Cover von Babykrabbeldecken, die vor Ort zusammengestellt und nach Fertigstellung Familien in schwierigen Lebenssituationen zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Ihr entscheidet, wie die Decke am aussehen wird!

When we, the Rainbow Drums of the volunteer Hamburg Greenpeace group, demonstrate, we want to be heard. And we really go all out for environmental protection, sustainability, and peace work. We make sure that a positive atmosphere isn't lost, even with serious topics.

We play and drum on classic percussion instruments and creative self-productions like trash cans and rain barrels – the main thing is that it's rhythmic and loud. We bring the protest colorful and rhythmic to the streets and want to inspire and captivate people!

… Sinem AKK & Martin move – with temperament and emotion – across various genres. Exclusively on May 9th, they will present blues rock, blues, and world music, in the form of their own songs and cover versions.

Sinem AKK sings mainly in German, English, and Turkish.

Expect fine sound, melodic arrangements, and many gentle sounds. The songs are linked to personal experiences and send very personal messages.

Mit einer bunten Kinder Fahrraddemo, organisiert von ADFC, VCD und Parents for Future fahren wir mitten auf der Straße, aber ganz ohne Emissionen zum Asphaltsprenger Festival. Seid dabei, mit euren Kindern, Freund*innen und Angehörigen und natürlich mit euren Fahrrädern! Gemeinsam erobern wir die Straßen unter dem Motto: "Children ride bikes - a city worth living in!"

We demand safe cycle paths for our youngest children so that they can also enjoy cycling as adults.

Raubwürger are three quirky birds from Hamburg who advocate for nature with brutal environmental hardcore. Out of love for nature and anger at how it is being treated. Stylistically, Raubwürger operate in various areas of hardcore punk with hard electric guitars and driving drums. The songs deal with birdwatching, peaceful forest walks, and mushroom picking, but also various aspects of environmental destruction and resource waste. Love birds, hate fascism.

Between rap, dance, and poetry, Der feine Schliv explores new spaces. In her performances, she oscillates between provocative „f**k you“ statements to the patriarchy and empathetic narratives of trying and failing. She performs with, among others, the young Serbian duo "Slezga" as well as the Hamburg groups Fallbeil and Yummy Air. The diversity of her accompaniments reflects her musical universe, from ballad-like conscious rap to country tunes and witchy toasting.

Yummy Air

Between classic blues, metal, garage rock, and boogie jazz, the brothers have carved their unexpected way straight into the hearts of the audience. A sound one would only expect from old live recordings from the early seventies. With sharp lyrics, they denounce the capitalist contexts in which we live, without losing their sense of humor. Dressed in cowboy outfits, masculinities are naturally questioned and new, self-ironic, and vulnerable possibilities of it are lived out.

The combination of punk rock and rap that Yummy Air and Der feine Schliv bring to the stage breaks with sexist norms, shifts the boundaries of heteronormativity, and provides the audience with empowerment, entertainment, and a desire to dance. The lyrics in English and German are accompanied by drums, bass, and guitar and can be understood as an incitement to revolution.

I am Sama (she/her), a 25-year-old singer from Jerusalem, now living in Hamburg. I sing pop in English and Arabic, connecting my bilingual background. I have been on stage since the age of 13 and have gained valuable experience in choirs as well as performances. As a solo artist, I interpret Arabic pop songs and aim to convey emotions with my voice, bring joy, and touch people.

Isa Schwarzenberg's vinyl listening sets hover somewhere between dreamy krauttronics, haunted folk, and post-genre echoes—irregular beats and quirky sounds drifting through slowed post-punk, peripheral oddities, and shape-shifting, no-BPM electronic residues; fragments in motion, dissolving, reassembling.

The tours start hourly at the NAJU stand in the park by the flood basin and lead to the nearby tower. From there, you can discover and identify various bird species with binoculars. The focus is often on common species like tits, finches, robins, and sparrows – but with a bit of luck, you might also spot rarer species.

Everyone is welcome – whether young or old, with or without prior knowledge. Come by and discover the diversity of the bird world with us!

RICCARDI SCHOLA is the Italian half-brother of Richard v.d. Schulenburg, also known as RVDS. He is an ultimate disco lover and plays sets at Golden Pudel, Golem, and various underground clubs in Italy. He released a debut EP and a single with Giulia and Giada on Bordello A Parigi.

MADAMIMADAM is playing outernational and unusual electronic dance music from South Africa via Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, and India to South America.

MADAMIMADAM has been part of the Hamburg underground scene for many years, playing at Golden Pudel, Slot, Gängeviertel, MS Stubnitz, and many other bars and venues in Hamburg. She is also a resident DJane at the Lala festival in Kiel.

Kaspar Müller is into all kinds of sounds and noises. You never know if he'll bring his drum machines, modular synths, small scratch turntables, real drums – or all at once. His setup changes constantly, making the performance a thriller, but one thing is for sure: it's always dark and crunchy!

Wir sprengen mit euch den Asphalt für ein Vogelparadies: Direkt auf dem Festival-Gelände pflanzen wir mit eurer Hilfe heimische Vogelschutzgehölze wie Kreuzdorn, Pfaffenhütchen und Weißdorn – mit reichlich Nistgelegenheiten und Beerenfutter im Winter. Ihr könnt bereits vor dem Festival-Start mit uns aktiv werden (10:30 bis 13:00 Uhr) oder am Nachmittag ins Pflanzen einsteigen (14:00 bis 16:30 Uhr).
