The songs about forbidden love, chases in the park or the nice neighbor Holger - who turned up one day with glasses and changed the lives of Messer and Lili Flittchen considerably - naturally arouse curiosity. So one of the big questions we certainly ask ourselves is: Who actually pissed in the cup? Questions upon questions, bimbo upon bimbo. What's left for you to know: How can you be extra close to the bimbos?

When we fax the fig bimbos with this urgent question, they only reply briefly and concisely: "Come to our concert!

Hamburg-based musician Hannah Grosch focuses on hand-played, homemade and finely felt. On her new album "BODYPARTS", she breaks with classic song structure in a convinced avant-garde-alternative manner, focusing on playful and versatile vocals and deciding anew from song to song which instrumentation should accompany the voice in a warm and soft-groovy way.

Everything is allowed to be brittle, creaky, in tortured lightness, always in favor of emotion and dynamics. With "BODYPARTS", Hannah Grosch combines a whole range of different influences and moves in the space between PJ Harvey, Björk, Joanna Newsom and Fever Ray. As a FLINTA* trio with Niko (Junokill) and Stina, Grosch manages to translate the songs, recorded entirely solo, into a polyphonic band experience. Raw, touching, intense.

John Winston Berta & Oliver Wissing: The duo that reinterprets the 80s. The magic of the 80s comes back to life - in an unforgettable acoustic performance.

Olli & Johnny are more than just a guitar duo. They are time travelers who bring the best of the 80s to life on two guitars. With a unique blend of virtuosity and nostalgia, they bring the hits of this legendary era to the stage, while relying largely on technology and instruments from the era.

"Our aim is to bring the timeless magic of the 80s back to life in an intimate atmosphere," says John. "By focusing on the technology and instruments of the era, we're creating an authentic connection to the music that touched the hearts of so many people."

Jazz duo Mona and Alex Florin is so Beautiful the debut of Ukrainian jazz singer Mona and Hamburg virtuoso jazz guitarist and composer Alex Florin.

Mona is a Ukrainian jazz singer from Ukraine (Kyiv) who fled the war, immigrated to Hamburg and immediately began to interact with the Hamburg funk scene, members of Mighty Mokambo led by Björn Wagner and Mona with Ms Fame united in the project "Mona & Hammerbrook Sound Machine" combining Ukrainian culture with Hamburg funk and released two vinyl singles on Mocambo Records that have already won the hearts of the break community and recognition from Kyiv to California.

Alex Florin is a guitarist and composer who is well known in the German jazz and music scene. He is a member of several bands and leads the trio Pale Blue Dot. His style combines improvisation and thoughtful composition and ranges from jazz to folk to ambient. In 2024 he released the concept album Sourdough Dog/Rex. Florin studied jazz guitar in the Netherlands and is known for his unique approach to music and storytelling on the guitar.

Thus Problem is a band from Hamburg that can be located somewhere between indie and post-punk, loud and quiet tones, soft songs and loud screams. The band was founded as a duo in 2019 and has been performing on smaller stages in the Hanseatic city since 2020. They released their first EP in 2022, followed by their second EP "A Sun that never shines" in 2024.

With dark guitar sounds, the alternation of serious themes and fun-punk attitude, experiment and improv, the bass/drums/guitar trio can be found wherever there are still concerts with cheap beer.

Übersee is a Hamburg band whose music always echoes a sense of longing. For the beautiful south, which perhaps no longer exists, for the mountains and the sea, places where nothing distracts you but the stars.

Wosto was born in 1980 in Geseke (a small town in "Wostfalia"). As he would call himself an animal lover, he released all of the animals from Geseke in 1995 and rode a donkey through his hometown. The police came and arrested Wosto and his animal gang into a seperate district, where he still lives with them and plays records for them. To this day, many visitors come to see him playing and dancing and feed him with new music by throwing the records over the fence. It is said that there is a secret tunnel, so Wosto can escape from time to time and play some secret gigs outside.

In 2013 Wosto and his best friend Kluentah founded FALLBEIL. So far they released many records on different labels all over the world. In 2017 Wosto and the two members of NOSTALGIE ÉTERNELLE started the trio SAUERSTOFFF. Wosto is also releasing solo records and is running his own vinyl label - TEERPAPPE

The 12 m² project organizes utopian walks through Hamburg: What would it be like if we looked at the city through different eyes? Our interactive tours allow us to imagine that the world we live in could be completely different! Ana Amil's lecture on the Asphaltsprenger takes us on a virtual exploration tour of Hamburg to see what alternatives exist to the car-oriented city.

Ana Amil is a culture and community manager and founder. The focus of her work is on justice issues. "All everyday and public areas of life, such as mobility, work, health, education, housing, participation, ... must be thought of intersectionally and become fairer and more equal."

"FARN" - The offer from the "Fachstelle Radikalisierungsprävention und Engagement im Naturschutz" of the Naturefriends of Germany and the Naturefriends Youth of Germany

Ecology from the right: The workshop sheds light on the historical and current links between German nature conservation and environmental protection and extreme right-wing concepts. Participants will be sensitized to recognize inhuman thought patterns in nature conservation and environmental protection.

The Hallo: Verein is a platform, a framework for diverse projects and initiatives, embedded in a neighborhood in the east of Hamburg. We work as an open and self-organized structure. We open up private and public spaces and turn them into communal places. Our means are artistic, performative, mediating, negotiating, formalizing and connecting.

The kiosk is a neighborhood contact point where people develop and implement a meeting space and offers together - at PARKS, the community open space project at the old recycling yard in Hammerbrook, which the neighborhood has been developing and operating together with Hallo: and atelier le balto since 2019.

How can all living beings participate in a political system? It is being tested on a wooded wasteland in Berlin's Wedding district. Empathy laboratory, participatory political multispecies formats, educational projects and performances.

The "Wild Throats" are a musical-literary performance by Carsten Kluth and Xaver Römer on bird-human relationships. We trace the 'wild throats', record the songs of yellowhammers, tits, reed warblers and others, make music with them, write and compose their stories. We slip into their perspective to become a little wild ourselves.

In this ESD theater performance, young and old audience members learn about the fascinating world of soil creatures in an imaginative and musical way: woodlice, millipedes, spiders, springtails and bacteria. Together with earthworm superstars, they ensure healthy soil. And this is also extremely relevant to the climate. By building up humus, carbon dioxide can be returned to the soil.

Together with you, we want to discover all the edible things that grow on our doorstep. We will prepare a small snack and refreshment with local wild herbs, learn exciting stories about them and paint and craft with plants.

Freibeuter e.V. organizes environmental education activities for children and young people in Hamburg and shows them how exciting and delicious nature is on our doorstep. In this way, we raise awareness of healthy eating and a responsible approach to nature and introduce sustainability issues in a playful way.

we will ride in the middle of the road but without any emissions to the Asphaltsprenger Festival. Join us, with your children, friends and family and of course with your bikes! Together we will conquer the streets under the motto: "Children ride bikes - a city worth living in!"

We demand safe cycle paths for our youngest children so that they can also enjoy cycling as adults.

Our approx. 6 km long tour will be secured for us by the police and our team of stewards.

We will have a wilderness stand in the park at the festival and will be ready to help you, young and old, discover wild corners of the festival site, play games, browse through identification books or even conjure up a surprise or two from our toolbox. We look forward to seeing you!

The SDW's Bombus (Latin for bumblebee) has been touring Hamburg for over 15 years, offering our young and old visitors an insight into the world of bees, bumblebees and insects. You can take part in various activities on the day, whether the bee course, various giant puzzles or a visit to the small exhibition in the mobile, a colorful and interesting offer awaits you on the day.

Andreas Dorau, an artist and musician from Hamburg, has been releasing recordings on an irregular basis since 1981. One theme that runs through his entire oeuvre is animals and nature. He will be a guest at the Asphaltsprenger for the third time, presenting and commenting on pieces about the North German animal world. An audiovisual tour in five stations awaits you. Specialist animal experts will also have their say. Be there!

How clean is the air we breathe? On this measurement tour, we use a mobile measuring device to take a close look at the concentration of ultrafine particles - tiny pollutants from traffic, industry and other sources that can penetrate deep into the lungs. Together we will explore the area surrounding the festival, show the measured values live and explain what they mean. Come along on a scientific walk and find out more about invisible pollution in the air we breathe!

With enthusiasm, microscopes and experiments, we take environmental education to where it is needed in a playful way - directly to schools, daycare centers and educational institutions. With our mobile environmental education offers, we sensitize young people to climate protection and ecological connections - in a practical, low-threshold & encouraging way.

The soil and the earth on which we stand is not only a habitat, but also a symbol of diversity, change, death, composting and growth. It nourishes plants, fungi, animals and humans and shows us how important it is to look after each other, to live and grow together. In nature, we find many different species of plants, fungi and animals that together form an ecosystem. Together with the artist Elana Neil, we want to experience the earth together on this day and get to know different perspectives:

Earthworms are an important component of good soil and therefore the basis for all growth. Our mascot is the earthworm family called "SiS" (from the company Nordwurm and rescued worms from the Anglershop). It guides us through the art project and then answers the question of why it eats everything but the seeds and sprouts!

We also play memory games or make seed balls that look like rum balls. These are small balls of soil, seeds and clay that we can throw into nature to make plants grow. We also create other "sweets" from soil. Just as we plant seeds in the soil, we also want to sow the ideas of feminism in our society and allow them to flourish. Our creations are perfect as an alternative to real but unhealthy sweets as a gift! Together, we can spread the feminist seeds of compassion, tolerance, mindfulness and equality and start a conversation about them. We are committed to ensuring that equality is practiced and that everyone has the right to be heard and actively participate. Together, we are creating a space in which diversity can flourish! Let's be creative together and plant the seeds for a fairer world!

A city can produce (almost) everything it consumes itself: This is the vision of a "Fabrication City", or Fab City for short. In 2019, Hamburg became the first German city to decide to become a Fab City - with a consistent circular economy, new production processes using openly accessible machines, a new digital infrastructure for the city and extensive participation by city residents, this can be achieved.

Discover the world of the circular economy in a playful way with Fab City - from paper recycling and card games to exciting simulations and experiments. Suitable for all ages!

As part of the "Asphaltsprenger" festival 2025, the Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS) BMBF junior research group "CoCare Society" will be represented with posters on two "Stories of Anna and John", a narrative-based climate service product in which information on climate change, health, care and energy efficiency is considered and linked. Research findings are presented in narrative form, discussed at public events and further developed together with stakeholders. The "CoCare Society" will also prepare a game for children on this topic.

At a further GERICS themed table, the project, which is part of the EU project The Human-Tech Nexus (The HuT) developed the serious game "Flood Risk", which can also be played directly on site.

Also featured: Climate Service and Art with a video presenting some highlights of the GERICS activities on "Climate Change and Art", including a minimalist survey.

Last but not least: The GERICS climate outlooks for German counties, districts, regional districts and independent cities (here using Hamburg as an example). In each report, the results for climate parameters such as temperature, heat days, dry days or heavy rain days are summarized on a few pages. The results show the projected development of climate parameters over the course of the 21st century for each scenario with high, moderate or no climate protection.

This scientific publication also makes it clear that we must do everything we can to stop climate change.

Participation stand for particulate matter measurement!

Scientists from the Department of Chemical Transport Modeling at Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon invite you to learn about measuring, monitoring and predicting air quality in the city. We will demonstrate the digital platform for air quality prediction throughout the event and look at how and why residents can collect data themselves. We will bring along mini-sensors that can be used to independently measure particulate matter around the PARKS site. The results will be evaluated together on site.

The Museum der Natur Hamburg covers an area of 2,000 m², where numerous animal specimens can be found. From huge whale skeletons to tiny insects, animals from all over the world can be discovered in all sizes, shapes and colors. Together with the zoological exhibition, the geology-palaeontology and mineralogy sections are also part of the Museum der Natur Hamburg of the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB).

Curation: Space for Art & Ecology

RISA is a joint process by BUKEA and HAMBURG WASSER to rethink the way we deal with rain in Hamburg. This works by using swales and ditches, green roofs and green facades to retain rainwater, allow it to seep away and evaporate. Schoolyards, sports fields, parks and playgrounds can be used for this purpose. In addition, everyone can contribute to this on their own property. Financial support is available through the RISA funding program.

A small exhibition at the Asphaltsprenger Festival shows what possibilities exist and how this has been implemented in Hamburg for decades. Information will also be provided about the RISA funding program.

The cycling club provides information on all topics relating to cycling: safety, traffic policy, tours and cycling trips, theft protection and coding. You can also test your knowledge in the traffic rules quiz.

You can also show how confident you are on your bike in our slow riding competition. Who can ride the route in the longest time? At the end of the day, there will be a little surprise for the slowest rider.

Podcasts & message in a bottle on the Bille: What is water?

"What is water?" At first glance, this question seems banal, but it is remarkably complex. Is water merely a resource that we need to manage and monetize? Can people actually own water and if not, why can it be sold? Can we manage and control water or is it rather a force of nature with its own rules? Is it a good that belongs to all people on this planet and should be understood and protected as a common good?

We cordially invite you to join us on the Bille and listen to the voices and thoughts of various scientists on the question of what water actually is via an audio format. You can then write or record your own message in a bottle: What does water mean to you? What water stories have you experienced? Because yes, everything flows together.

The working group "Critical Geographies of Global Inequalities" deals with existing inequality and power relations from a critical perspective. In addition to theoretical-conceptual debates and empirical research, we contribute our research questions and findings to teaching and social processes.

In the middle of the PARKS grounds and yet undisturbed in the Hedda Hummel Box, festival visitors talk to exciting personalities from society, culture and science about the topics that move them. Together, opinions are exchanged, information shared and horizons opened up.Afterwards, you can read what was said on our pinboard.

We founded the non-profit association Citizens Forests 5 years ago in Bönningstedt with the aim of planting unused areas with native trees for climate protection. We work on a voluntary basis with volunteers and pass on our know-how free of charge to committed people who would like to carry out a planting campaign in their region. At our stand, we will discuss with you how you can get involved and what is special about our planting method. We look forward to meeting you!

The association FOR A GREEN HAMBURG has set itself several goals in the area of environmental protection and nature conservation:

• Promotion of nature conservation and landscape management
• Environmental and climate protection
• Coastal and flood protection
• Promoting civic engagement for nature conservation

The association leads or supports regional campaigns, for example to protect former moors from development, to preserve green and fresh air creation areas and to stop land sealing.

Nature conservation issues in connection with Hamburg's urban development are an important topic. The association aims to influence public decisions in favor of the preservation and expansion of urban nature and green spaces.

The association currently supports the following initiatives:

• WiWa stays!
• Stand up Winterhude!

The association welcomes further initiatives that are committed to nature conservation.

An important focus of our non-profit nature conservation association is the special habitat of the freshwater floodplain. This habitat between Stade and Geesthacht is unique in Europe. We run the Elbe Tidal Floodplain Center with an association café in Moorwerder.

Our association also looks after 14 of Hamburg's 37 nature reserves. We actively protect species and biotopes, offer a diverse environmental education program and are involved in shaping and discussing politics within the city.

The future workshop "The desealers of Hamburg" shows the effects of climate change on urban settlements in an interactive and realistic way. The high degree of sealing, the increasing frequency of heavy rainfall events and the increasing heat phases in summer represent a major need for action for cities like Hamburg.

The future workshop combines theoretical content from the areas of soil, water and surface sealing with practical experience. Experiments and practical tasks provide real-life insights into the future challenges facing HAMBURG WASSER.

Outdoor advertising is annoying, manipulative, distracting and consumes an incredible amount of energy. In addition, backlit and digital billboards contribute to light pollution, which has a negative impact on insects and birds.

We want to make Hamburg better:

• No digital advertising systems
• smaller advertising spaces
• half of the areas for culture

In order for this to be put to a referendum, we need the signatures of 5% of the people eligible to vote in Hamburg by May 13, 2025. You can sign directly at our stand at the Asphaltsprenger festival and make our advertising regulation law a reality.

We plant hedges in people's heads and in the fields!

When we hear the word hedgerow, not everyone thinks of flowering shrubs, fields and paths lined with birdsong, colorful ribbons that run through the landscape in autumn and fruits that provide food for animals late into the winter. As hedge rescuers, we want to bring this image to people's minds and explain how important wild hedges are for native biodiversity and also for climate protection.

We plant new wild hedges and ensure that they are cared for in a nature-friendly manner. Our aim is to be able to harvest their fruit in a few years' time. Elderberries, rose hips, cornelian cherries and sloes will then be processed into high-quality products.

At our stand, you can find out more about our activities and get tips on how you can make a big difference in your own small garden. Young and old can playfully learn more about hedges with our memory game.

The KulturEnergieBunkerAltonaProjekt, or KEBAP for short, aims to create spaces for culture and generate decentralized energy in the high-rise bunker in Schomburgstraße in Hamburg-Altona. We already offer exciting events and programs for school classes on topics such as the environment, energy and sustainability.

PrimaKlima, the cross-sectional project of Lenzsiedlung e.V., combines social work with climate protection and environmental awareness. Together with the University of Hamburg, we are focusing on creative activities such as the parklet, the garden project and interactive workshops in the Lokstedt high-rise housing estate to strengthen climate resilience and revitalize the neighbourhood.

"lokalkraft - for a sustainable Hamburg" is a growing Hamburg network that uses the enormous potential that exists in people's local living environments, in the city's neighborhoods, to counter the multiple ecological, social and political crises of our time locally and powerfully with concrete and joint solutions.

KUNST AUF BROT - a joint campaign by Minitopia and Solawi Superschmelz

Minitopia is an extracurricular place of learning, an adventure garden, a neighborhood meeting place and a real laboratory. On the site of a former truck workshop in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, people try out together whether and how we could provide for ourselves in times of globalization with local resources, our own hands and mutual support in the city. Solawi Superschmelz is a community-supported agriculture organization just outside Hamburg that distributes fresh organic vegetables directly from the field to its members every week from 5 depots in Harburg and Wilhelmsburg. Together they want to make you better eaters - creative, healthy and delicious!

At our stand you will receive information about the "MOIN STADTNATUR" project. This is Hamburg's advice center for nature-oriented gardens, balconies and open spaces. You will find out how you can create a small natural paradise on your balcony or in your own garden.

Let the city blossom together with us and do something good for biodiversity. If you feel like it, you can make your own seed bag and take a portion of certified Regio seeds with you!

MycoLutions develops recyclable materials with fungal mycelium. Mushroom mycelium, the root network of the fungus, penetrates and decomposes organic materials in its natural habitat. MycoLutions makes use of this ability and develops an upcycling process for organic waste materials. The fungal mycelium binds particles together like straw to form a solid composite material. Naturally Hamburg! is a large nature conservation project of the environmental authority, which is being implemented on 5,400 hectares throughout Hamburg. The project is concerned with the protection and ecological maintenance of parks and nature reserves in Hamburg. It aims to preserve biodiversity and improve the ecological quality of habitats for native animals and plants. Natürlich Hamburg! also ensures that people in the city can better understand and enjoy this urban nature.

Climate change does not affect everyone equally. Particularly vulnerable groups such as marginalized people, indigenous peoples or people in the Global South are more affected by the negative impacts, for example through natural disasters, the loss of livelihoods due to droughts or rising sea levels. These groups often have fewer resources to adapt or protect themselves from the consequences. Climate justice demands that these inequalities are recognized and combated. In addition, migration is promoted by Europe's imperial mode of living.

In addition, countries that have acquired prosperity on the backs of the Global South have a duty to redistribute resources fairly. However, the payment card primarily favors capitalist companies such as secupay, Publ°k, Visa, SAP, Nortal and Giesecke+Devrient and finances jobs in public authorities to manage the data octopus payment card. Access to cash is an essential part of the redistribution of resources. Social justice and climate justice are linked because both aim to reduce inequality, whether in terms of the distribution of resources, responsibility for climate change or the opportunities and impacts that result from it.

We at the non-profit association obenstadt e.V. have a clear goal: to promote the use of Hamburg's rooftops as a habitat for all living creatures. Because we know that Roofs can do much more than just be empty or unused. They can be meeting places, feed people, provide shelter for animals or become green oases - in other words, a habitat that really helps the world.

Work with nature, not against it!

What exactly is permaculture? You've probably heard the term before - but what exactly does it mean and what is permaculture good for? We at Permakultur kollektiv e.V. are convinced that permaculture offers so many solutions to our current challenges, whether environmental or social, that more people need to get to know it. That's why we founded our non-profit association in 2023. We offer workshops and lectures and would like to network with other permaculture enthusiasts in and around Hamburg.

You will get a first insight at our stand. Take a playful approach to the ethical principles and pragmatic approaches of permaculture and get to know us and our association.

Schrott bewahre is a non-profit association that rescues building materials from disposal and returns them to new cycles of use. Through mediation, processing and creative reuse, a new value is created for seemingly disused resources.

Solawi-Vierlande is a non-profit association for ecological, solidarity-based and regional vegetable supply and environmental education. It is financed by membership fees from the currently 250 households in Hamburg; the members share the harvest, risk and responsibility. The market garden is run by 4 employed gardeners; the depots, member administration, logistics and IT are self-organized and run on a voluntary basis.

We enable solidarity among members: once a year, the bidding round takes place, which enables a balance between financially better and worse off members. There are currently still free harvest shares for the current season!

Conserving resources, sustainability and avoiding waste? Of course! Together with our "circular economy workshop", you will learn a lot about the processes involved.

There are puzzles and games of skill with questions for the whole family. Try to maneuver bottle caps and other small "waste" into buckets with grippers, explore our waste pyramid or test your knowledge in the garbage can throwing game.

There's something for everyone here - big or small.

Cars need a hell of a lot of space! Estimate exactly how much at our stand, learn about exciting traffic facts and help draw our large mosaic picture. Of course, we also have plenty of ideas and concepts on traffic-related topics.

We are the young local group of Verkehrsclub Deutschland, all under the age of 35, and are committed to sustainable mobility for all. We organize discussions, excursions, campaigns and demonstrations for the mobility transition. Come along and let us inspire you!

The Vollhöfner forest grew wild and free for almost 60 years on a rinsing field at the port of Hamburg. In 2015, the Hamburg government decided to clear the forest for logistics areas. Studies showed that this forest is a very valuable, irreplaceable habitat. It is also at the heart of the biotope network. People who care about the forest founded the Vollhöfner Wald climate protection initiative and publicized this unique gem with walks and many campaigns. Successful!

This year we are bringing soil, flower and vegetable seeds so that the children can choose and sow them themselves.

The Wild Forest in Wilhelmsburg and the Altenwerder Wilderness are under threat, the city of Hamburg is destroying the last patches of wild nature in our city. The Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein wolf managers work together to ensure careful and transparent monitoring of wolves, support livestock farmers with advice on livestock protection and in the event of wolf kills, and inform the public about wolves.

We are a nature garden on the campus of the University of Hamburg run by volunteers and the AStA - the "Wurzelwerk".

We will be presenting our project at our stand and inviting you to join us in building a second nature garden on campus. We would like to make friends and gain further supporters.

As a practical side project, we offer to help fill small insect hotels with reed sticks.

We use these insect hotels to supplement the wildflower meadows on the university campus.
